Una is a professional dog walker, qualified in Canine Obedience Training and in Canine First Aid. She is currently studying Animal Behaviour with Coape in the UK.

I believe that pets are part of the family. But with that brings a range of problems. What do I do when I am at work? I don't have time to walk the dog! The dog is destroying the house! I need to get my pet to the vet but I have work. What do I do when I go on holidays? My dog hates Kennels! How do I stop my dog from pulling? My dog doesn't like other dogs...

Your Pets Best Friend understands how busy life can be and that sometimes it can be your dog that suffers. A dog that is left alone for long hours can become bored, destructive , have behavioural problems and even become depressed. We offer a reliable, flexible dog walking service that will ensure peace of mind that your best friend is getting exercised and is happy

Service includes:

One hour dog walking in your local area

On/off lead

Treats

Poo bags for cleaning up

Water

Toys

Towel Dry on return if wet

Safety Note:

To ensure the safety and happiness of your dog we only walk a maximum of four dogs per walk. Dogs are kept on lead unless we have your permission to walk off lead. Una is qualified in Canine first aid.

Home boarding

Home boarding Your Pets Best Friend has limited availability for home boarding in Olive's home for good sociable dogs. Dogs who come to Olive's home for home boarding benefit from holidaying in a loving home where they have love and attention 24 hours. They sleep indoors and have the pleasure of an acre of land to run and play with the resistant lab Monty. They also get brought on two walks a day with Monty and perhaps some other dogs. The only problem? They might have too much fun they won't want to go home!

Your Pets Best Friend offers a brilliant pet sitting service which means you don't have to worry about putting your beloved pet in kennels or a cattery.

This is an extremely convenient service as there is no transport involved or upset for your pet. The pet sitting takes place in your home to ensure that your little pets routine is not changed in anyway. Our service is tailored to suit you and your pet. Your house will also be in safe hands as we will bring in post, milk, bins, turn on and off lights and even water plants!

Service Includes:

One visit per day for cats

Two visits a day for dogs - morning and evening.

Feeding & Watering

Walking

Cleaning of pet areas

Play time

Providing medication if required

Taking in post, water plants, turn on and off lights (to ensure your house looks safe).

Text updates on how your pets are getting on while you are away.

Consultation

Dog walking, Pet Sitting & Home Boarding: We will arrange a convenient time to meet you and your pet in your home. During the visit we will get to know your pet and ensure we all get along! We will provide you with an information form for you to fill in regarding your pets dietary requirements, behaviour, health issues etc. At this stage we can go through all your requirements for your dog walking, pet sitting or home boarding. This consultation is free of charge. Training Consultation: The first meeting allows me to meet you and your dog, take note of your requirements, judge which training package is best for you, look at your dogs natural behaviour and analyse its abilities. It also give me a change to go through what is required from you to ensure the dog and you get the best of your training sessions.

You don't know what it meant not having to worry and think about him during the day. He really seemed to bond with you and still remembers your name and runs to the door when I say it, it's so funny, he will be dying for us to go on a holiday so he can have "his best friend" calling over to visit and bring him for walks! We love, love, LOVE Una and the rest of Your Pets Best Friend team. Our dog is always so happy to see them, he nearly does back flips when he sees the car pull up in the the drive. They are amazingly responsible, conscientious and, most importantly, kind and loving with all their charges. The daily personalized Doggie Diary keeps ...us abreast of all the fun that's been during the day, and also alerts us to any issues that may have come up such as tummy upsets or changes in behavior (a godsend for us, since our little man has a chronic illness which needs to be monitored). It is such a blessing to have someone we know we can depend upon and trust 100% to look after our dog when we're at work, and we've recommended Your Pets Best Friend to neighbors and friends who have pets.
